Every year Epic Mtb runs an event called the Blast, basically its Irelands answer to the megavalanche, mountainbikers come from all corners of the country and gather atop ballinastoe, its not about the results its about the craic,theres nothing like racing 200 riders for a space bearly big enough for two, this was my view along with marshall Paul Cummin"s, Enjoy !!!

Peel Districs MTB club held their second downhill round of 2010 at Wellington Mills, not far inland from Bunbury. The track used has recently been upgraded and had the competitors on their toes, but loving every minute of it(insert ballerina pun here).
